Working with a touch-pad and keyboard on my lap instead of the standard keyboard / mouse setup has improved my posture and has given me comfort in the past few days. Months ago I was working with a keyboard / mouse setup and I began experiencing wrist pains (right hand) due to the movement of the mouse. Because of that, I am training my left hand to handle the mouse but I also noticed that its developing slight pains as well. I finally got a hold of a keyboard / touch-pad setup and have tried working with it. You can have it on your lap and maintain a posture on your chair. I noticed a few improvements like easier control with less movements of the hands.
