ESTEE STANLEY: Hailee Steinfeld L.A.-based stylist and interior designer Estee Stanley has more than 15 years’ experience dressing style stars, from the Olsen sisters to Jessica Biel to Jennifer Anniston. Her aesthetic is as eclectic and creative as her clients. She Will : “Designers are very interested in dressing Steinfeld, so I think she will probably edge it up a bit with a look like this dress from Prabal Gurung’s (left) spring collection.”I Wish: “I want her to wear something young and flirty like this Jason Wu dress (right). Designs like this would work wonderfully with layers of Jenn Meyer or Anita Ko jewelry, and an open-toe shoe would work perfectly with a look like this.”

ESTEE STANLEY: Sandra Bullock She Will : “I think Sandra always looks great, and I would like to see her in something like this Marchesa (far left) look that is reminiscent of the dress she wore to the Academy Awards last year. I think she will wear something sexier than the Jenny Packham dress she wore to the Golden Globes.”I Wish : “This Emilio Pucci look (right) would be perfect with Vhernier chunky jewels and a sexy super-high heel.”

ESTEE STANLEY: Halle Berry She Will : “Something sexy and body-conscious like this Cavalli dress (far left).”I Wish : “I think she should wear Lacroix or a dress like this (right) from Chanel’s spring collection. Both designers are classy but have just the right amount of edge. There is a new jewelry line at Barneys called Munnu that’s amazing and would partner well with either of these designers. I would recommend a simple satin pump here.”

JOE ZEE: Michelle Williams Elle’s creative director is one of the most sought-after names in fashion and has styled stars from Taylor Swift to Johnny Depp to Lady Gaga. She Will : “Michelle usually gravitates toward unexpected silhouettes, and she loves floral embellishments. This peach Valentino (far left) would look great with her coloring and is consistent with her feminine pixie style.”I Wish : “I would like to see Michelle take more risks. This saffron McQueen dress (right) is as original and creative as Michelle and makes a very strong statement that she is a style star who will continue to surprise us.”

JOE ZEE: Hailee Steinfeld She Will: “This young new star isn’t comfortable enough to take A-lister leaps, so she keeps it clean and safe with age-appropriate looks like this YSL dress (far left).”I Wish : “Hailee is young enough to let her starlet charm shine through in her red carpet moments. This Phillip Lim look’s (right) plunging neckline and split skirt reveal just enough for this Best Supporting Actress nominee to stay within her comfort zone while being a bit more daring and edgy.”

JOE ZEE: Natalie Portman She Will : “The Best Actress nominee isn’t afraid to show off her baby bump , and she has been doing so during her red carpet moments this awards season. I think this Valentino gown (far left) is a simple and obvious option for her. The silhouette is perfect for a preggers Portman.”I Wish : “Chanel is always hot! Natalie will stop the show in this couture piece (right) from S/S11. It’s completely unexpected and something she could totally pull off. Most stars stick to comfortable, classic silhouettes while pregnant. This piece will stand out, and the talk will be about her dress, not the extra pounds!”

LESLIE FREMAR: Michelle Williams The fashion insider began her career styling editorials for a magazine, then went on to lead celebrity styling for Prada. She dresses everyone from Maggie Gyllenhaal to Jennifer Connelly. She Will: “The Blue Valentine star always wears something demure, covered, and pixielike. I expect she will choose something like this Chanel couture dress, which is in that vein.”I Wish : “I’d like to see her take a bigger risk and show off her body with a look like this Gaultier couture dress from spring.”

LESLIE FREMAR: Nicole Kidman She Will : “The Rabbit Hole star likes to wear white, and she likes dresses with interesting details and unexpected silhouettes. I expect she will wear something like this Givenchy couture dress (far left) from spring.” I Wish : “The actress is so statuesque and strikingly beautiful that I wish she would go a little bit over the top and wear something unexpected like this look (right) from McQueen’s pre-fall collection.”

LESLIE FREMAR: Sandra Bullock She Will : “One of this year’s presenters, Bullock tends to wear very romantic looks, and I can see her in something like this Dior couture dress (far left). She likes to wear different kinds of looks for each awards show, and because she was casual at the Golden Globes, I expect she might choose something more glamorous for the Oscars like this.”I Wish : “I hope she wears something romantic like this Elie Saab couture dress (right) that would look gorgeous with her coloring. I think she should keep her hair off her face for this look and try wearing different bracelets on each wrist that don’t match, like a gold one and a diamond one.”

LESLIE FREMAR: Angelina Jolie She Will : “I think The Tourist star will wear something minimal and classic like this Elie Saab couture dress (far left) because she has very simple taste.”I Wish : “I would love her to wear something a little bit more interesting like this Elie Saab couture look (right). Her coloring allows her to wear a black dress, and this is a beautiful way to wear black.”

GEORGE KOTSIOPOULOS: Annette Bening Style expert George Kotsiopoulos is a magazine editor, consultant, and stylist, and he has dressed the likes of Kristen Stewart, Katy Perry, Anne Hathaway, Zoe Saldana, and Julianne Moore. He’s currently style editor at large for C magazine and has done a lot of work for E! News, the Style Network, Access Hollywood, and Good Morning America. She Will : “This Monique Lhuillier pre-fall gown (far left) is timeless, simple, and elegant and falls somewhere in between the Best Actress nominee’s somber Tom Ford gown she wore to the Globes and her fabulous Georges Chakra beaded column at the SAGs.”I Wish : “This Chanel beaded gown (right) from the spring 2011 couture collection is young and fun but still age-appropriate for Annette. I love its casual elegance, and it’s way cool when you’re older to make a statement but also look like you’re not trying too hard.”

GEORGE KOTSIOPOULOS: Amy Adams She Will : “My buddy Cristina Ehrlich does a great job with The Fighter star, who often doesn’t take many chances on the red carpet, so maybe she’ll be in something classic and chic like this Giambattista one-shoulder gown (far left) that is glammed up with incredible Lorraine Schwartz jewels.”I Wish : “Amy’s Hervé Leroux gown at the SAGs was a breath of fresh air to her usual subdued palette, and I’d like her to continue with a sunny outlook. Even at the risk of her looking like Giselle from Enchanted, I would still want to see her in this incredible yellow dress (right) from Christian Dior’s spring couture collection.”

GEORGE KOTSIOPOULOS: Jennifer Lawrence She Will : “My friend Elizabeth Stewart, who styles Jennifer, was quoted in WWD saying that she loves Juan Carlos Obando. Jennifer is so strong and statuesque, and I think she would look like a romantic warrior goddess in this Grecian gown (far left) from his new fall collection.”I Wish : “The Winter’s Bone star hasn’t done the requisite ingénue ball-gown thing yet, so I would love to see her in this spring Dior couture gown (right). Of course, the ruffle on the waist would need to be tacked down a bit to make it red carpet–friendly.”

MONICA ROSE: Scarlett Johansson Famous for her signature edgy yet subtly sexy looks, Monica Rose has spent the past eight years consulting with and dressing talent like the Kardashian sisters. She was first noticed by the producers of E! network’s The Daily 10 , who brought her on board as head wardrobe stylist. She Will : “Scarlett tends to wear very feminine silhouettes in neutrals and blush tones on the red carpet. I think she will be sticking with that palette and will wear something feminine and classic like this Oscar de la Renta gown (far left) from spring.”I Wish: “I think this other Oscar de la Renta gown (right) would be amazing on Scarlett. The sweetheart neckline and corseted bodice in this two-tone gown would really give Scarlett a different look. She should finish off the look with retro-Hollywood red lips.”

MONICA ROSE: Amy Adams She Will “Adams is always elegant on the red carpet, and she seems to be wearing a lot of formfitting dresses lately. I think she will go with a ball gown like this Oscar de la Renta dress (far left) that is a bit more dramatic than her usual silhouettes.” I Wish : “I would really like to see Amy in a voluminous gown with corseted bodice such as this other Oscar de la Renta gown (right) from his S/S11 collection. It would be a nice change for her and worthy of such a momentous occasion.”

MONICA ROSE: Anne Hathaway She Will: “Anne Hathaway is such a sophisticated and elegant young woman. Rachel Zoe always makes her look impeccable on the red carpet. She is one of my favorites to see for awards shows because she takes fashion risks. I think Anne will go for a gown in a neutral palette that is formfitting with lots of texture like this spring Marchesa gown (far left). The mermaid silhouette definitely works for her.” I Wish: “I would love to see her in this ombré Marchesa gown (right) with delicate details and an avant-garde silhouette. If there is anyone who can pull off this gorgeous gown, it’s Anne. It would make a strong statement on the red carpet and would definitely be a dress to remember.”

CAROL BRODIE: Melissa Leo International jewelry and fashion expert and host of Rarities: Fine Jewelry With Carol Brodie on HSN, Carol Brodie has transformed her career from being the global director of communications at Harry Winston to the Home Shopping Network, where she has worked with some of the world’s most exclusive brands. She is also a recognized media personality appearing as a correspondent on Extra and as a style expert on E! network’s Style Court and ABC’s Extreme Makeover, as well as making frequent appearances on the Today show, Good Morning America, CBS This Morning, and CNN.She Will : “This one-shoulder spring Badgley Mischka (far left) is appropriate for a mature actress like Melissa Leo. The tactile texture adds an element of whimsy and will make it stand out on the red carpet.”I Wish : “This graphic black-and-white Carolina Herrera (right) is age-appropriate but would flaunt her fit figure. It is streamlined and modern and would be nicely complemented by a red satin heel. It would also be fabulous paired with a set of black-and-white diamond cuff bracelets.”

CAROL BRODIE: Jennifer Lawrence She Will: “Bold colors are a go to for Jennifer. This ruby red L’Wren Scott with a sweetheart neckline (left) would look superb on the young actress. She should pair it with a simple open toe black stiletto.” I Wish: “In keeping with the feel of the season, I would love to see Jennifer in something feminine and light like this playful pale pink Ralph Lauren dress (right) which would compliment her natural beauty.”

CAROL BRODIE: Amy Adams She Will : “This chic spring Oscar de la Renta gown is the classic red carpet look (left), which Amy is a pro at pulling off. The sequin embellishments complemented by the sweet satin bow has been a common trend on the red carpet, and I can see her opting for it.”I Wish : “For Amy, Elie Saab’s coral halter-neck gown (right) would be such a beautiful complement to her hair and skin. Add a coral lip and a pair of vintage yellow-diamond drop earrings and her look would be thoroughly modern and glamorous with a nod to old-Hollywood elegance.”
